Mitsubishi ESKA MH4001 MH4002 Wide-Bandwidth POF, 1.0mm
Mitsubishi Eska MH-grade wide-bandwidth POF: MH4001 simplex and MH4002 duplex, 1.0 mm core, 160 dB/km, -55 to 85 C, PE jacket, 500 m for network data.
Mitsubishi ESKA MH4001 and MH4002 are wide-bandwidth (MH grade) plastic optical cables in 1.0 mm PMMA core: MH4001 is the simplex and MH4002 the duplex. They sit above GH-grade in the Eska lineup for higher-bandwidth network and data links, with lower transmission loss than the industrial GH cables.
Product Overview
In the Mitsubishi Eska cable catalog the MH rows are labelled wide bandwidth: 1.0 mm fiber, 160 dB/km transmission loss, PE jacket and -55 to +85 °C operation. MH4001 is a single-fiber simplex cable (OD 2.2 ±0.07 mm) and MH4002 is a two-fiber duplex (OD 2.2 x 4.4 ±0.1 mm), both supplied on 500 m spools (spool type C). The core is step-index PMMA with a fluorinated-polymer cladding. See the full range on our POF fiber optical cable category page.

FAQ
What is the difference between MH4001 and MH4002?
MH4001 is the single-fiber simplex cable (OD 2.2 mm) and MH4002 is the two-fiber duplex (OD 2.2 x 4.4 mm). Both carry the same 1.0 mm fiber at 160 dB/km and -55 to +85 °C.
How does MH compare with GH grade?
MH is the wide-bandwidth grade with 160 dB/km; GH is industrial data at 170 dB/km. Both are rated to +85 °C. Choose MH when the link budget or bandwidth needs the lower-loss grade.
What about the docx attenuation of 0.2 dB/km?
The supplier docx quick-details list 0.2 dB/km, but the Eska catalog table lists 160 dB/km for the MH rows; we use the catalog value and flag the discrepancy for verification.
Why Choose Us
We supply Mitsubishi Eska POF by the recognized MH part number, keep the catalog table traceable, and do not mix enclosure or illuminator ratings into the cable specifications. Start from the home page or the POF category to explore related products.
