Can I use a glass-fiber ST connector on 1.0 mm POF? No. A standard glass ST ferrule bore (2.5 mm ferrule holding 125 um glass) will not center a 1.0 mm POF core. Use the POF-specific ST 1000 connector whose bore matches the 1.0 mm plastic fiber.
