Toray PGU-CD 1501-28-E / 2001-30-E POF Cable, 1.5 & 2.0 mm Core / 2.8-3.0 mm OD

Toray PGU-CD1501-28-E (1.5mm/2.8mm) and PGU-CD2001-30-E (2.0mm/3.0mm) black PE jacketed PMMA POF cables, <=0.15 dB/m, bend 20mm.

The Toray PGU-CD1501-28-E and PGU-CD2001-30-E are larger U-grade PE-jacketed POF cables, carrying 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm fibres in 2.8 mm and 3.0 mm outer jackets.

Product Overview

These are the larger-core PG-series cables for higher light throughput. The 1.5 mm fibre uses a 2.8 mm OD jacket (600 m spool) and the 2.0 mm fibre a 3.0 mm OD jacket (300 m spool); both are rated <=0.15 dB/m with a 20 mm bend radius. They are in our POF fibre optical cable range.

Key Features

  • 1.5 mm / 2.0 mm large cores in 2.8 / 3.0 mm PE jackets.
  • <=0.15 dB/m attenuation (650 nm).
  • 20 mm bend radius for the larger diameters.
  • 600 m / 300 m spools.

FAQ

What is the difference between U and S grade?

U grade (PGU-CD) has lower attenuation than S grade (PGS-CD) for the same fibre diameter; S grade is a lower-cost variant with higher loss. Match the grade to your optical budget.

What is the jacket made of?

Black polyethylene (PE), per the Toray PG-series cable specification table.

What is the minimum bend radius?

9 mm for the small/slim cables, 20 mm for the larger 1.5/2.0 mm core cables, per the Toray table.

Why Choose Us

We supply Toray PG-series jacketed POF cables to the exact U/S grade and diameter listed in the Toray specification table. Start from the POF category or the home page.
