The FC fiber optic adapter is a passive FC-to-FC bulkhead coupler that precisely aligns two FC plugs through a panel or enclosure wall, available in green-coded FC/APC and white-coded FC/UPC versions.
Product Overview
From the images, the adapter is a nickel-plated metal FC-FC coupler with a square mounting flange and threaded FC ports on both sides. Two finish styles are shown: one with green protective dust caps (indicating FC/APC angled polish) and one with translucent white caps (FC/UPC). It mounts into a panel cutout with the supplied hex nut.
As a passive alignment component within our fiber optic adapter range, it adds no electronics and simply holds both FC connectors centered for a low-loss, serviceable connection.

Performance & Reliability
The adapter centers the ceramic ferrules of both FC plugs; its performance depends on connector cleanliness, correct APC/UPC matching (do not mix APC and UPC in one coupler) and a snug panel fit. Keep dust caps fitted until the link is ready to connect.
