The 200-2200 nm silica fiber patch cord is an armored quartz (silica) optical fiber cable with ST-PC connectors, built for 200/600 µm core/clad delivery from the UV through near-IR. The flexible metal conduit protects the bare silica in medical and laser setups; this is a silica fiber, not PMMA plastic fiber.
