The Asahi Kasei DB-1000 / TB-1000 is a 1.0 mm step-index PMMA bare POF used both for end-glow decoration and for short visible-light signal transmission. The 1.0 mm grade is widely adopted for signal and sensor links thanks to its 0.16 dB/m typical loss and robust handling on the reel.
