Toray PFU-UD 1001-22 / PFU-CD 1001-22-AD PMMA POF Cable, 1.0 mm Core / 2.2 mm OD

Toray PFU-UD 1001-22-E/V and PFU-CD 1001-22-AD jacketed PMMA POF cable, 1.0mm core, 2.2mm OD, NA 0.46, for sensors and communication.

The Toray PFU-UD 1001-22-E / 1001-22-V and PFU-CD 1001-22-AD are jacketed PMMA POF data cables with a 1.0 mm fibre in a 2.2 mm outer jacket, for sensor and communication links.

Product Overview

These Toray jacketed cables use a 1.0 mm step-index PMMA fibre (980 µm core, 1000 µm cladding) inside a 2.2 mm outer jacket. The E variant is black, the V variant gray, and the AD suffix denotes the duplex/order variant. The fibre has NA 0.46, core RI 1.492 and cladding RI 1.419 per the Toray structure sheet. They are part of our POF fibre optical cable range.

Key Features

  • 1.0 mm PMMA fibre in a 2.2 mm jacket.
  • Step-index, NA 0.46 for LED/PD coupling.
  • Black (E) and gray (V) jacket options.
  • Rugged jacket for sensor and equipment wiring.

FAQ

What do E and V mean?

Per Toray marking, E denotes black and V denotes gray jacket for the same 1.0/2.2 mm cable construction.

Is this bare fibre or a cable?

This is a jacketed cable — the 1.0 mm fibre is inside a 2.2 mm outer jacket for routing protection.
