The Mitsubishi ESKA SK40 is a 1.0 mm high-brightness step-index PMMA end-glow fiber from the SK decorative series, wound on a 1,500 m spool. The 1.0 mm SK40 grade is chosen for bright car-headliner star and shooting-star effects and feature lighting. As always, the 6000 K, AC 165–265 V and IP68 figures in the listing belong to the LED illuminator, not the fiber.

Is SK40 brighter than SK10?
SK40 is 1.0 mm at 150 dB/km; SK10 is 0.25 mm at 300 dB/km. The thicker SK40 passes more light per strand for brighter points.
Does it include the LED engine?
No, this is the bare fiber. Pair it with a compatible RGB or white LED fiber illuminator.
