Product Overview
This is the standard wholesale PMMA lighting fibre range: a step-index PMMA core with a fluorinated cladding, drawn in nine diameters from 0.25 mm to 3.0 mm. Fine fibres give many small, flexible star points; larger fibres give brighter single points. The fibre itself carries light only — no voltage reaches the glowing end. FAQ
Which diameter should I choose for a star ceiling?
Smaller fibres (0.25-0.75 mm) give dense, subtle stars; larger fibres (1.5-3.0 mm) give brighter, fewer points. Many designs mix diameters.
Is the 6000K / IP68 part of the fibre?
No — those belong to the LED illuminator or enclosure. The fibre’s own specs are diameter, NA, loss and bend radius.
Can you cut to length?
Yes — we supply by the roll and cut to your total length.
