The ST connector for 500 µm plastic optical fiber is a push-and-turn ST-style POF connector with a metal coupling nut, designed to terminate 0.5 mm-core step-index POF in industrial and sensing links. The same connector family is offered for 250, 750, 1000, 1500 and 3000 µm fibers.
