Toray PGR-FB 1500 / 2000 / 3000 are large-core step-index PMMA POF in the PG lighting-and-sensing series, at 1.5, 2.0 and 3.0 mm diameters for high visible-light throughput.
Product Overview
These large Toray PG-series fibres carry more light than smaller grades and are chosen for illumination, end-glow decoration and sensor light guides where brightness matters. The 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm and 3.0 mm grades are wound on shorter spools (700, 350 and 150 m respectively) because of their large cross-section. They belong to our POF fibre optical cable range.

Why are the spool lengths so short?
Large-diameter fibres occupy more space per metre; the grade table lists 700/350/150 m for the 1.5/2.0/3.0 mm grades.
Are these for data communication?
No — PG series is for lighting and sensing; the PF series is the data-communication Toray family.
